What buildings are called high-rise buildings?
Very tall buildings, each floor of which is habitable, are called skyscrapers or high-rise buildings. In Persian, in the last decade, the word tower has been used to refer to this concept. Although there is no official standard for defining skyscrapers, a height of at least 150 meters is used as a criterion for defining skyscrapers. The term was first used in the late 19th century for tall buildings in New York City, USA. Later, architectural historians refused to use the term for tall brick buildings, and used it only in the case of high-rise buildings with steel structures.
Many building engineers, supervisors, architects, and building-related professionals consider a building that is at least 75 feet (23 meters) high to be a high-rise building.
High-rise steel frame buildings
Choosing a high-rise steel structure suitable for high-rise buildings should meet the requirements of rigidity and strength. The structural system must be designed and sufficient for lateral strength and gravity load to cause horizontal shear displacement and reversal deformation.

High-rise steel frame shear wall structures
Vertical concrete or steel walls can be used in both architectural partitions and are structurally used to withstand loads and gravity. The extreme hardness and strength of the plate makes them ideal for construction of tall buildings. Structures with a central core usually use a shear wall as the central core of the structure.
High-rise steel frame systems
Choosing a high-rise metal frame system suitable for high-rise buildings should meet the requirements of hardness and strength. The structural system must be designed and sufficient for lateral strength and gravity load to cause horizontal shear displacement and reversal deformation.
The so-called tall buildings are taller than 70 feet (21 meters).
Buildings taller than 100 meters are called skyscrapers. Buildings 300 meters or higher are called super tall and buildings 600 meters or taller are called mega tall.
Structural systems of tall buildings can also be divided into two broad categories:
1) Internal structures
2) External structures
This classification is based on the distribution of components
